Ioanna Zourou Organic Olive Farm ORGANIC PRODUCTS CONTROL & CERTIFICATION ORGANISATION ARISTOTELOUS: 38 -104 33 ATHENS TEL: 210-82.24.384 FAΧ: 210-88.48.164 «Premio Internazionale Biol 2006» ORGANIC OLIVE OIL COMPETITION RESULTS April 6th, 2006 The Premio Biol 2006 International competition will take place, from 21 to 25 of April 2006, in Andria (Italy). During this competition in Athens, Friday March, 31st and Saturday April, 1st, the team of olive oil testers composed by Giorgio Cardone, Vasilis Kamvisis, Costas Vanna and Anna Neglia met at SEVITEL'S place. The first phase of the competition concerning the promotion, communication, informing and collection of registrations and olive oils, was organised by the DIO Control & Certification Organisation. The valuation was based on the methodology which is provided by the European Union regulations 2568/91, (EU) 896/02 and made from the experienced olive oil testers that mentioned before. The comittee, estimated the olive oils' quality (most of them of excellent balance and quality), each one to contain and offer to the tester, the special characteristics of its farming area.
